[Prioritization of risk situations in neuro-urology: Guidelines based on the Delphi method from Association française d'urologie (AFU), Association francophone internationale des groupes d'animation de la paraplégie (AFIGAP), Groupe de neuro-urologie de langue française (GENULF), Société française de médecine physique et de réadaptation (SOFMER) and Société interdisciplinaire francophone d'urodynamique et de pelvi-périnéologie (SIFUD-PP)]. / Priorisation des situations à risque en neuro-urologie : recommandations par méthode Delphi de l'Association française d'urologie (AFU), l'Association francophone internationale des groupes d'animation de la paraplégie (AFIGAP), le Groupe de neuro-urologie de langue française (GENULF), la Société française de médecine physique et de réadaptation (SOFMER) et la Société interdisciplinaire francophone d'urodynamique et de pelvi-périnéologie (SIFUD-PP).

PURPOSE: During the COVID-19 pandemic, a care reorganization was mandatory, and affected patients in different areas, including management of neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction. This work aims to provide validated schedule concerning the assessment and management of patients in neuro-urology. METHODS: Based on a literature review and their own expertise, a steering committee composed of urologists and physical medicine and rehabilitation practitioners generated a comprehensive risk-situation list and built a risk scale. A panel of French-speaking experts in neuro-urology was asked to define the timing for each clinical situation and validated these new recommendations through a Delphi process approach. RESULTS: The 49 experts included in the rating group validated 163 propositions among the 206 initial items. The propositions were divided into four domains - diagnosis and assessment, treatment, follow-up, and complications - and two sub-domains - general (applicable for all neurological conditions) and condition-specific (varying according to the neurological condition (spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, Parkinsonism, spinal dysraphism, lower motor neuron lesions)). CONCLUSIONS: This multidisciplinary collaborative work generates recommendations based on expert opinion, providing a validated timing for assessment and management of patients in neuro-urology which may help clinicians to reorganize their patients' list with a personalized medicine approach, in a context of health crisis or not.

[Diabetes and COVID-19]. / Diabète et COVID-19.

According to previous reports, diabetes seems to be associated with serious clinical events due to COVID-19. But is diabetes per se a risk factor of being infected by the virus? We discuss these points. Data about the antidiabetic drugs are scarce. Dipeptidylpeptidase-4 (DPP-4) is found as both a cell surface protein ubiquitously expressed in many tissues and as a soluble molecule found in serum/plasma, fluids. DPP-4 is involved in infection of cells by some viruses. We relate data about the use of DPP-4 inhibitors in diabetic patients. We conclude relating French and international recommendations in people with diabetes.

[Good practice for aerosol therapy by nebulization in 2020]. / Bonnes pratiques de l'aérosolthérapie par nébulisation en 2020.

Nebulization is a drug delivery mode whose prescription and application remain uncertain. A guide to good practice has been proposed by the work group on aerosol therapy of the French Society for Respiratory Diseases, so-called GAT. The previous recommendations date from 2007. In addition to an update of data on nebulization, these expert recommendations aim to be of real help to the prescriber.

[Recommendations for a gradual and controlled resumption of electroconvulsive therapy in France during the period of lifting of the containment and of the COVID-19 pandemic linked to SARS-CoV-2]. / Recommandations pour une reprise progressive et contrôlée de l'électroconvulsivothérapie en France en période de levée du confinement et de pandémie COVID-19 liée au SARS-CoV-2.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had major consequences for the organization of care. In France and around the world, centers practicing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) have seen their activity decrease, or even stop for many reasons. In this context, maintaining or resuming this essential therapeutic activity for many patients suffering from psychiatric disorders requires material, human and logistical adaptations that should be supervised. The objective of this collective and national work is to offer simple recommendations that can be applied immediately by any healthcare establishment, public or private, practicing ECT. They are the result of feedback from multiprofessional and inter-establishment experiences. Declined in three stages, these recommendations are accompanied by a practical sheet which describes in detail the necessary conditions and prerequisites for any resumption of ECT activity.

[Challenges for psychotropics in the context of the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic]. / Enjeux de l'utilisation des psychotropes dans le cadre de la pandémie au SARS-Cov-2.

French recommendations have been proposed for psychotropics use and possible adaptations during the SARS-CoV-2 epidemic. Between uncertainties linked to the lack of data and speculations about possible benefits of psychotropics against the coronavirus, we propose here elements allowing to base the pharmacotherapeutic decisions potentially useful in Covid+ patients with psychiatric disorders.

For the first time, faced with a crisis with an exceptional magnitude due to the COVID-19 pandemic responsible for saturation of emergency services and intensive care units, the urolithiasis committee of the French Urology Association designed the recommendations for care and treatment of stone-forming patients and their treatment during crisis.
